Railway RRC WR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Complete DetailsRailway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Western Railway has officially released the RRC WR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification under Advertisement No. RRC/WR/04/2025. A total of 5,349 Act Apprentice vacancies have been announced across various Divisions and Workshop units of Western Railway. This recruitment is conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the training year 2025-26. Candidates who have passed 10th class with minimum 50% aggregate marks along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from an NCVT/SCVT affiliated institute are eligible to apply online through the official portal rrc-wr.com.This is an excellent opportunity for young candidates seeking a foothold in Indian Railways. The apprenticeship is a one-year training programme and successful candidates receive a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) upon completion, which is recognised across government and private sectors. The major trades include Fitter (1614), Electrician (1217), Welder (532), PASAA (280), Electronic Mechanic (236), Mechanic Diesel (207), Painter (190), Carpenter (184), and others including Wireman, Plumber, Sheet Metal Worker, Machinist, Turner, and more. Candidates should apply only for the trade in which they hold a valid ITI certificate.Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) in the 10+2 system with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised Board. Additionally, candidates must hold an ITI Certificate in the relevant trade affiliated to NCVT or SCVT.
