DSSSB Recruitment 2026 – 216 Posts Notification
The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has officially released Recruitment Notification No. 02/2026 for the recruitment of 216 posts across multiple departments of the Delhi Government. The posts include Radiographer, Optometrist, Assistant Manager (Law), Reporter, Patwari, Stenographer, and several other posts. The online application window opened on 27 February 2026 at 12:00 Noon and will close on 28 March 2026 at 11:59 PM.

DSSSB is the recruitment body responsible for filling vacancies in various departments, autonomous bodies, local bodies, and offices under the Government of NCT of Delhi. This notification covers 20+ different post codes spread across departments like Health, Revenue, Finance, and Urban Development. Candidates with qualifications ranging from Class 10th to Graduation/Post Graduation can apply depending on the specific post.

Important Posts and Eligibility

Radiographer: B.Sc. (Radiography) or Diploma in Radiography from recognized institute
Optometrist: B.Sc. (Optometry) / Diploma in Optometry
Assistant Manager (Law): LLB Graduate from recognized university
Reporter: Graduation + Shorthand Speed (English: 160 wpm / Hindi: 140 wpm) + Typing (40 wpm English / 35 wpm Hindi)
Patwari: Graduation (any stream) from recognized university
Stenographer Grade-II: 12th Pass + Shorthand Speed (English: 80 wpm / Hindi: 80 wpm)
Other Posts: Matric/10+2/ITI/Diploma/Graduation as per specific post requirements


Age Limit
Minimum age: 18–21 years (varies by post). Maximum age: 27–32 years (varies by post) as on 28 March 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Application Fee
Application fee is ₹100/- for all applicable candidates, payable through SBI e-Pay. SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection Process
Selection is based on the exam scheme applicable to each specific post code:

One Tier (General) Exam – Post Code 17/26: 200 MCQs in 2 hours covering General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Hindi & English (40 marks each). Final merit based on CBT marks.
One Tier (Technical) Exam – Most Posts: Section A (General: 100 marks, 100 MCQs) + Section B (Domain Specific: 100 marks, 100 MCQs). Minimum qualifying marks mandatory in Section B only.
Two Tier (General) – Post Code 12/26 (Reporter): Tier-I qualifying, Tier-II – 200 MCQs + Descriptive (Essay + Letter writing) = 275 marks.
Skill Test/Trade Test: Applicable for Reporter, Stenographer and posts requiring typing/shorthand.
Document Verification & Medical Examination post written result.

Minimum Qualifying Marks: General/EWS – 40% | OBC (Delhi) – 35% | SC/ST/PwBD – 30%. Normalization of marks will be done if required.

Submit and take a printout of the submitted application for future use.
