Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a recognized degree in a relevant discipline. The post-wise educational qualification is as follows:

IT Stream (Software Developer, Cyber Security, Data Science, Network Administrator): B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics or MCA from an AICTE/UGC recognised University.
Risk Management: MBA / PGDM in Finance / Risk Management or equivalent post-graduate qualification from a recognised university.
Taxation / CA: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from ICAI is mandatory.
Relevant work experience (1-5 years depending on Scale) in the respective domain is required for Scale II and above posts.
Candidates must be Indian Citizens as per the Government of India norms.


Age Limit
Age is calculated as on the date mentioned in the official notification. Category-wise age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules.

Scale I posts: Maximum 30 years
Scale II & III posts: Maximum 35 years
Scale IV posts: Maximum 45 years
SC/ST: 5 years relaxation | OBC-NCL: 3 years relaxation | PwBD: 10 years relaxation

Selection Process
The selection for Central Bank of India Specialist Officers is conducted in multiple stages:

Online Written Examination – Stream/category-specific questions along with Banking, Economic Scenario, and General Awareness sections. Conducted in online mode.
Personal Interview – Candidates shortlisted based on online exam performance will be called for an interview. A minimum score is required to qualify.
